Serverless Consultant Developer

Context

CorpInfo is launching new Serverless solution capabilities for our clients, and are seeking consultant developers to help launch our cloud native development services practice.

 

Job Profile

The first Serverless developer to join the PSO group, responsible for coaching clients and hands-on development of Serverless workloads on AWS.   To be successful the candidate must have a strong software engineering background, experience in refactoring and reimaging applications, and be excited to help clients transition to cloud native architectures.

 

Responsibilities

Rearchitect applications and workloads to AWS Serverless solutions.

Be the lead developer for Serverless solutions on AWS.

Mentor developers where their resources lead implementation.

Help automate testing in Serverless environments.

Help optimize performance and operational costs of Serverless landscapes.

 

Core Qualifications

Bachelors in Software Engineering, or Computer Science.

5+ years of experience in Agile software development, continuous deployment, and unit & performance testing.

Experience of application porting, refactoring and reengineering applications.

Prior roles as engineering team leader, technical mentoring skills.

Polyglot software developer – comfortable in multiple software languages.

At least 1 year of experience on AWS.

 

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Serverless solutions - AWS Lambda, API Gateway, ELB/ALB, Cognito, S3, DynamoDB, Route53 and CloudFront.

Java, REST and microservices.

JavaScript, JSON, Node.js, Express.js

Consulting developer/client-facing roles.

Active public Github account, OSS contributor.

AWS certified developer (associate).
